Hong Kong Trip; 5D4N - May 2016

2nd time to Hong Kong,this time round I came here with my friends. We stayed in Cosmopolitant Hotel Hong Kong for 4 nights. We didn't get any HK simcard as Cosmopolitant hotel furnished us a mobile phone with WiFi , we can use as tethering hotspot. I am happy with the Cosmopolitant hotel services, will book back the same hotel during our next visit.

Day 1
  • Afternoon flight to Hong Kong, touched down Hong Kong at 6.30pm
  • Headed to the counter to bought the "Octopus Card"/something similar to Ezlink card.
  • Took MTR to Hong Kong Station; initially we decided to wait for free shuttle bus to the Hotel, unfortunately all of us were too tired and ended up we flag a cab (forgotten about the charges, but is not expensive)
  • Arrived and check-in at 9pm ; the environment of this hotel is nice and cozy :)
  • First thing to do; Feed our tummy 
  • We took their public transport "Ding Ding" which is right opposite our hotel
  • Had our late dinner at "Tsui Wah Restaurant"
  • Headed back to the Hotel and rest

Day 2
  • Morning breakfast at Australia Dairy Company澳洲牛奶公司 (Hongkong)
  • Our Hotel is walking distance to MTR station; located in between Wan Chai & Causeway Bay, we walked approximate 10 minute to reach Causeway Bay station
  • Australia Dairy Company 澳洲牛奶公司 (Hongkong); alight at Admiralty Station change to Red Line go Jordan How to get there: Exit C2 Jordon's MTR Station and walk towards Parkes Street 47-49 Parkes Street Jordan (near Jordan MTR)

  • After our breakfast, we headed to Hong Kong famous street "Miu Gai" actually during noon time there isn't much to see.
  • Visited Victoria Harbour and had our lunch there
  • After our lunch we took MTR to Wong Tai Sin Temple
  • Continue shopping - I found out that G2000 & Zara is cheap over here comparing with SG/MY
  • Explore Mong Kok area to whack street food as our dinner
  • Reached hotel around 11pm-ish and prepare to sleep
Day 3
  • Today breakfast will be Tsim Chai Kee 沾仔记 - Michelin Recommended Ping Pong Wonton a Class Of Its Own. Located at Sheung Wan.
  • Today aim is to buy Cookies - Jenny Cookies (15 Wing Wo Street)  & Nicholas Tse's Cookies (F, 39-49 Gage Street, Central)
  • After we managed to purchased the cookies that we wanted, we took a cab back to the hotel.
  • Took "Ding Ding" to Causewaybay; shop around causewaybay and had our tea break at "Hui Lau Shan"
  • Our day 3 Dinner was a spoiler!!! Was supposed to dine at "Dimdimsum Dim Sum" and unfortunately we walked in to a wrong Dim Sum store name "Dimdimsumsi Dim Sum". We only noticed it after we sat down and order food. Kindly take note!
  • After dinner we headed back to our hotel - shower and rest
  • After a short rest, we went to Victoria Peak & Lan Kwai Fong
Day 4
  • Breakfast at  Honolulu Café 檀島咖啡餅 located at G/F & Mezz Floor, 176-178 Hennessy Rd., Wan Chai; walking distance from our Hotel
  • Took a cab to Disney Land
  • Had our lunch in Disney Land too
  • After the firework session, we took a cab to a nearby restaurant to have our late dinner
  • and we had Durians as dessert - this is an impromptu act where my this friend was craving for durians back then haha..
Day 5
  • Last Day in Hong Kong
  • and we had 2 meals today. We are all craving for Honolulu Cafe's so we pay a visit to Honolulu first while waiting for Kam's Roast Goose to open store at 11am!!! Seriously Honolulu Cafe Egg Tart is super delicious I really fall in love with the Egg Tart - happy to know that Honolulu opened a shop in Singapore recently.
  • Headed back to the hotel - Check & Pack
  • Byes Hong Kong till we meet again
**I managed to eat almost everything that I planned, except Capitol Cafe & Tim Ho Wan**
